Mr. Gates Heating & Cooling started the same way most great businesses do — with someone who was tired of seeing their neighbors get taken advantage of. Too many Las Vegas homeowners were being oversold, overcharged, and given repairs they didn't need by companies more interested in the invoice than the customer.
So we did something different. We built a company around a simple idea: show up on time, diagnose the problem honestly, fix it at a fair price, and treat every customer's home like it's our own. No commissions on upsells. No pressure tactics. No inflated quotes because the temperature is 115° and you don't have a choice.

Hi, we're Dalton and Tiffany Gates, the owners of Mr. Gates Heating & Cooling.
We're both Las Vegas locals who were born and raised right here in the valley. Before starting the company, Dalton worked for the Clark County School District while doing HVAC work on the side for friends and family. Tiffany worked in the payroll department and helped keep everything organized behind the scenes.
As Dalton started helping more people with their air conditioning systems, he kept hearing the same story over and over again. Homeowners were being told by larger HVAC companies that they needed to replace their entire system, only to find out that a simple repair was all that was actually needed.
That's when we realized there was a need for honest HVAC technicians who focused on fixing problems instead of selling equipment.
So we took a leap of faith and started Mr. Gates Heating & Cooling with one simple motto:
"We're repairmen, not salesmen."
Since day one, we've built our company around treating customers the way we'd want our own friends and family treated. That means showing up when we say we will, communicating honestly, offering repair options whenever possible, and never using high-pressure sales tactics.
What started as side work for friends and family has grown into a company we're incredibly proud of. We know there are a lot of choices when it comes to HVAC companies in Las Vegas, and we're grateful for every customer who trusts us with their home.

We offer a 10-year manufacturer parts warranty and a 1-year labor warranty on all new system installations. That's genuine peace of mind for every Las Vegas homeowner.

If your unit is over 12–15 years old, requires frequent repairs, or your energy bills have spiked — replacement is often the smarter investment. We'll give you our honest recommendation, not the most profitable answer for us.

At minimum once a year, ideally before summer. In the Las Vegas climate — where your AC runs hard for 6+ months — we recommend tune-ups before summer and before the heating season. Preventive maintenance saves significant money long-term.
